BSS #3 - Pastell - Pastel
Das dritte Werk meiner Reihe Blurred Sea Series. Es dauerte einige Zeit, bis ich mich von den kräftigen Farben und der Dominanz der Blau- und Grün-Töne trennen konnte. Vielleicht unterliege ich aber auch einfach nur dem Zeitgeist und der ist derzeit nun mal Pastell.
Die Wischtechnik betont hier die bleierne Schwere, die das Meer an diesem schwülen Abend im Frühsommer tatsächlich auf mich ausstrahlt.
The third creation in my BSS. It took some time for me to break free of the strong colours and dominating blue and green hues. Perhaps I have succumbed to the Zeitgeist which is currently only in pastel. The wipe technique emphasises the leaden weight projected on me by the sea on that muggy early summer evening.
